Arvid Hansson (1162891)
Hi Tom, From what I can see, your training request in TAS has been pending since April 18. I understand that 2,5 months can feel like a long time to wait for a refresh session but you must take into consideration that the waiting times are strongly affected by the time of the year. It's currently holiday season, people (mentors) are away, we get more and more requests from those who are free from work or school over the summer and want to start controlling etc. This will result in longer waiting times and unfortunately there's not much we can do about it. I suggest you spend as much time you can reading up on procedures and doing as much preparation as you can do on your own, it will save you plenty of training time if you come well prepared to your session. I highly recommend logging on as an observer and listening in to other controllers, it will give you a good idea of how we do things nowadays if much has changed since you last controlled. I am not aware of your place in the queue, as the management of it lies in the hands of @Reidar Fredrik Frydenlund. If you get in touch with him he might be able to provide you with more information.

Håvard Halvorsen (1284176)
Hello Tom! The queue in Norway is long. You are number 13 in the queue. It's hard to give you an exact time estimate, as it's a lot of factors in play here. As Arvid said we are now entering the summer and mentors are away for holidays, some are working, some students need more time than others etc. So in the meanwhile just enjoy the summer And if you need anything to read, you can find some of our documentation here. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask me or @Reidar Fredrik Frydenlund Håvard Halvorsen Training Director
