Scandinavia consists of Sweden, Norway and Denmark, but the Nordic countries acctually consists of all the countries involved in Vatsim Scandinavia today (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland). Martin Loxbo (811805) Posted July 27, 2016 Report Share Posted July 27, 2016 While it's true that in the Swedish language, Scandinavia normally only refers to Denmark, Norway and Sweden, in English it's common to include the other Nordic countries in the definition of Scandinavia, so in English our name is correct.
