This isn't really a suggestion, more of a question.

Scandinavia consists of Sweden, Norway and Denmark, but the Nordic countries acctually consists of all the countries involved in Vatsim Scandinavia today (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland).

Wouldn't Vatsim Nordic be a more suitable name then? :)

That would be the correct way of including Finland and Iceland, I agree :) But on the other hand the name we use now is quite a well-used "brand".

While it's true that in the Swedish language, Scandinavia normally only refers to Denmark, Norway and Sweden, in English it's common to include the other Nordic countries in the definition of Scandinavia, so in English our name is correct. :)
