  1. Congratulations to the new S3 rated controller!
  2. The Board of VATSIM Scandinavia has approved the following Data Protection Policy to be taken in use, coming into effect immediately. Data Protection Policy of VATSIM Scandinavia can be found on the website of the vACC. The policy covers all the services of VATSIM Scandinavia, for example, TAS, website and the forums. By using the services of the vACC, the user accepts this policy. The policy has been created according to the European General Data Protection Regulation. http://vatsim-scandinavia.org/information/data-protection-policy/
  3. VATSIM Scandinavia is the home vACC for Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden with hundreds of members, dedicating their time to controlling and flying in the area of the vACC. Even we are a non-profit organization, we still have some costs to keep the web services of the vACC up and running. Currently, the vACC needs to pay for the forum services and domains. Meaning that the vACC has relatively small costs to run all the needed services. We also have some other supportive web services for free and at the same time, I would like thank the service providers that are letting us to use their services free of charge. The donations are the key to keep up our web services running, so I would like to thank everybody who has donated to VATSIM Scandinavia, so we are able to keep all services up and running! I have attached the donations report of VATSIM Scandinavia down below, so everyone is able to see the actual costs of running the vACC. 04/2018 -> 03/2019 -Julius, the previous Director VATSCA-DonationsReports2019.pdf

It's time for another S3 checkout Finland! On Friday 5 March at 17-20z (20-23 local) it's the turn of Eemil Helynen to show his controlling skills on Helsinki Radar. All traffic, both IFR and VFR are warmly welcome to attend this CPT and support Eemil in his final test before achieving his rating. There will be a good amount of supporting ATC online in Helsinki. Tampere Radar will be also supporting the CPT by providing ATC services across Finnish airspace. See you in Helsinki! Briefing | Charts
