Iceland International Night.jpg

Keflavik International Airport (BIKF) is the largest and busiest airport in Iceland, serving exclusively international traffic to the island country in the middle of the North Atlantic. On Sunday 22nd May between 1630z and 1930z, we invite you to depart from Keflavik in style, with controllers covering both the international airport and the Icelandic radar corridor between Norway and Canada. Enjoy extensive ATC coverage, combined with our unique radar-assisted oceanic service. That means you get to practice oceanic clearances on the ground, but you can fly in peace enroute without position reports! Common destinations within range include airports in Europe and North America, but you can fly as far as Asia if you have the fuel!

Visit our website for full pilot information.

We look forward to seeing you, and your friends, at BIKF on Sunday 22nd May!

We're on this Sunday night! This is the last Icelandic event before the June summer break (when we will actually be in Iceland), so come and join us at BIKF! Take advantage of the extensive staffing at EGLL for a double event night. Or are you a fan of long haul flights? This is the perfect opportunity for you to take advantage of two events, by departing Iceland during the International Night event and arriving just in time to'storm the capital' in California!

Whatever your preference, depart from a busy BIKF between 1630-1930z on Sunday 22nd May!
