VATSIM Scandinavia and the controllers of Sweden invite you to a special edition of our weekly event, SWEDEN online Thursday. ESSA, ESSB, ESGG, ESMS and ESSV will be staffed by our air traffic controllers Thursday 5th May 17-20z.
A giveaway will be held by VATSIM Scandinavia together with ORBX to celebrate the release of the ATR for MSFS. Two of each airport scenery will be raffled:
To participate in the giveaway, you must fly to/from an airport within Swedish airspace within the event timeframe, and submit your flight HERE
If you need inspiration which airline to fly in the newly released ATR:
Sweden's biggest domestic airline, Braathens regional BRX, operate the ATR 72-600 out of Bromma ESSB.
The main route network of Braathens happens to be made up of the airports that are being raffled off.
Scandinavian airlines SAS also flies the ATR, from Arlanda ESSA.
Bromma ESSB prohibit bigger aircraft than the A319 (Which is flown at Bromma by BRX and BEL)
Arlanda ESSA is the better option if you plan flying something larger than an A319, such as the A320 or B737.
