It's time for some looong-awaited checkout hype in Helsinki on Thursday the 17th of November at 18-21z (20-23lt) when Elias Peteri takes the hot seat on Helsinki Tower to prove the examiner he's got what it takes to earn his S2 rating and become a fully qualified Tower controller. That means that it's up to you to make him really sweat for his rating – IFR or VFR, every movement is crucial and very much welcome to give Elias some challenge on his session. The checkout takes place simultaneously with the weekly Helsinki in Sight event at 18-21z, so this is the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy some quality ATC while helping Elias out with the checkout. Why not hop into your favourite GA aircraft for some city sightseeing or perhaps fly domestic or to Europe and further with some of your slightly heavier aircraft. Everything's possible.
