Every week, hundreds of passengers are ferried from Nuuk Airport (BGGH) in the capital city of Greenland, to Kangerlussuaq Søndre Strømfjord Airport (BGSF), Greenland's main international hub. On 20th February 2016, VATSIM Scandinavia is offering you the chance to simulate this busy route, taking passengers from the city to the international airport, then onwards to destinations in North America and Europe.

That means you need to bring two planes, a light/medium aircraft for the shuttle, then a medium/heavy aircraft for the international departure from BGSF!

Greenland events don't happen every day, so make sure you mark 20th February down on your calendar for a VATSIM Scandinavia event.

Fantastic idea with an event in Greenland. Everyone enjoys a challange now and then, and this will be a good one. It can also be done with one plane. Iceland Express for example flies from Iceland to Nuuk in a Dash 8. Looking forwrd to it!

@Wygene ChongCould I possibly control in this please? :)

Yep you certainly can, just pop your name down when the staffing topic is created this weekend in the FIR sub-forum :) We'll organise for a mentor to shadow you during the event.

Ok would you like me on BGSF TWR or BGGH TWR @Wygene Chong

It'll depend on who signs up, just add your name and rating (S1) to the list when it comes up and we'll see how many people there are first.
