Arvid Hansson (1162891) Posted October 19, 2016 Report Share Posted October 19, 2016 Hi all, When Håvard stepped up from his Training Assistant ENGM position and took over responsibility for all of Norway the TA ENGM seat was left vacant. Håvard and I have redeveloped this assistant position and we are now accepting applications for the position Deputy Training Assistant Norway. The Deputy Training Assistant Norway will serve as an assistant to Håvard, helping out with the day-to-day tasks in running ATC Training in Norway. The Deputy Training Assistant shares the position description of the Training Assistant, but will have tasks delegated to him by the Training Assistant and those will thus include: Keeping track of the general training situation in Norway Reviewing incoming training requests in TAS Assigning mentors to students with pending requests Reporting to the Training Director for theory test tokens and rating upgrades Overseeing training and assessment reports and ensuring these meet the standards outlined in the Mentors' SOP Appointing new mentors and examiners as required to meet training demands (in cooperation with TD) Coordinating the development and maintenance of training related material specific to Norway (Sweatbox scenarios, LOPs, TAS LMS content etc.) The successful candidate will: Hold a minimum rating of S3 Have at least 3-4 hours/week to spend on staff related duties (admin work, answering e-mails etc.) Have ATC mentoring experience in the Norwegian FIR Applications or questions about the role should be sent to td@vatsim-scandinavia.org and training-norway@vatsim-scandinavia.org no later than October 29 22:00z. Your application should include a brief history of your VATSIM experience, including any previous staff roles as well as a short letter explaining why you are the right person for the job.
