Martin Tornberg (1069087)
Saturday 17 February, Vatsim-Scandinavia wants to welcome all pilots for a fun and challenging evening at Faroe Islands and Vágar airport. Located between North Atlantic and the Norwegian Sea, Faroe Island is an unique and beautiful place to visit. But look out for quick weather changes as the weather in the Atlantic can be quite erratic. This airport and airspace is a bit different from others, it's located within Oceanic airspace and is an AFIS airport. Please read our pilot briefing if you are unfamiliar with oceanic procedures and AFIS-airports. We hope to see you flying in and out from the Faroe Island on Saturday 17 February 17-21z.
