Martin Tornberg (1069087)
On Sunday 25th August all the controllers of VATSIM-Scandinavia invite pilots to visit and explore all the possible corners of our division. Starting at 12z, all of our enroute airspace and major airports will be open. And in addition to this we will open up our regional airports on an ad-hoc basis. That means, if you decide to fly from Oslo-Gardermoen to Alta in northern Norway you can expect to have the local regional airport online for your arrival. You decide where and what you fly, we provide the ATC service so you reach your destination safely. The countries that will have ATC coverage is Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. So you can see that you will have a great opportunity to visit and explore our neck of woods. Charts | Briefings
David Solesvik (1341101)
Just wondering, would it be a long shot to have bookings open for this event? Maybe if pilots specify which regional airports they intend to fly to, we can be prepared with ATC at that airport. Martin Tornberg (1069087)
We can't do that in such a short notice. However, maybe something for the future.
