training department VACCSCA Seeking Training Assistant Iceland

Hi all,

As Kobi has taken over as FIR Director Iceland the Training Assistant Iceland seat is left vacant. 

The description of the Training Assistant role includes:

• Keeping track of the general training situation in Iceland
• Reviewing incoming training requests in CC
• Assigning mentors to students with pending requests
• Reporting to the Training Director for theory test tokens and rating upgrades
• Overseeing training and assessment reports and ensuring these meet the standards outlined in the Mentors' SOP
• Appointing new mentors and examiners as required to meet training demands (in cooperation with TD)
• Coordinating the development and maintenance of training related material specific to Iceland (Sweatbox scenarios, LOPs, TAS LMS content etc.)

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a minimum rating of C1
• Have at least 3-4 hours/week to spend on staff related duties (admin work, answering e-mails etc.)
• Have ATC mentoring experience in Iceland FIR
