Or have you yet to make an account in fear that you haven't got what it takes yet? Then this is the event for you! VATSIM First Wings is the perfect place to start your VATSIM journey, with experienced and patient ATC who are dedicated to helping you start off the right way. You will also have the aid of VATSIM's very own pilot mentors, from the VATSIM Pilot Training Department, who will answer all the questions you might have. Feel like flying in Britain? VATSIM UK is opening up the airspace between EGBB and EGPF, so you can enjoy a beautiful scenic trip up the British countryside with excellent and experienced ATC. Exhausted from a long and hot summer? Cool down by taking a trip up to VATSIM Scandinavia, as they open up both ENGM, ESSA, and EKCH to follow you across the Scandinavian borders. VATSIM Germany is staffing up EDDW and EDDT, making this First Wings-event going down in history. EDDT will be closing on November 8th, making it the last event for Berlin-Tegel Airport as it is being replaced by EDDB. Auf Wiedersehen, Tegel! Fly within the respective event facilities, or make the jump and try flying between them! (Coverage between facilities is not confirmed) Join us and start your VATSIM adventure! Note: This event is focused on beginners of the VATSIM environment, so if you are a seasoned pilot we recommend that you will fly somewhere else on that day in order for us to focus on the beginners to VATSIM.
