Thought it could help everyone if we post here what we find missing from the db, the idea is to help complete the db as updates get released

- aircraft ICAO type designator | - wingspan (meters) | - fuselage length (meters) | - height (meters) |- maximum takeoff weight (kg) |- description (see below)| - (optional) aircraft IATA type code

- A (airliner/commuter)
- B (business/corporate aircraft)
- C (cargo aircraft)
- H (helicopter)
- I (military helicopter)
- M (military aircraft)
- P (private aircraft)
- T (military tanker/transport)

is there maybe planned to get a warning if data could not be found?
something like open a chat window which is saying "OEEAS aircrafttype C25B not found in aircraftinfo"
or also if groundradar assign a random gate due no suitable gate for this A/C "OEEAS no suitable gate found"

cause at the moment, controllers are not aware if the automatic didn't work

I'm not planning to introduce an alert for missing type data in the AircraftInfo file as it's only meant to provide additional information, so missing data there would not be critical enough to display an alert.

The plugin should not be assigning random stands. If a completely suitable one is not available, it will lift some restrictions and try again, so for example a Schengen flight might get assigned a non-Schengen gate if no Schengen gates are available. If no stands are available even then, the plugin will not assign one. The next plugin version will alert about a failed automatic assignment with a message in the GRplugin chat tab like the current version does when assigning a stand from the Stand menu fails.

ok I find it critical if an ATC send a B777-X to GAC cause of missing data, but thats just my point.

but anyway, struggling at the moment with prop planes. I'm not shure whats the problem at the moment.
in my example I have a Austrian DH8D
I have programmed follow assignment rules for it:

E-Stand
B-Stand
K-Stand
at least any other stand with prio -3
here are the codes for the follow stands +3 and -3 stands

for my unterstanding of the plugin, it should first search for correct config with prio+3, thereafter with +2 and so on.
at the moment I get nearly every gate auto assigned, also gates from prio -3.
I have attached the full Stand assignment, if you wanna see it.'

also if you wanna start a new topic for that, feel free to move that post

nice regards and stay healthy
Patrick

At least for E47 there, the WTC L restriction introduced in the light jet configuration blocks the Dash8 out, being a medium category type, as the WTC restriction is retained when a copy is made. The WTC would need to be defined again as WTC M in the turboprop configuration to allow the Dash8 to park there. Also, to limit the stand for Star alliance turboprops only, the callsign line would need to be restated.

so just for confirmation, WTC will be transmitted to the next Copy?

by reading the manual, I thought that only gate definition will be copied, and no airplane config.
But you are correct WTC is not listed in the "not copied" list

Yes, "copy" starts a new definition as an exact copy of the previously defined one, with the exceptions listed in the manual.
