Hi everyone,

We are looking for a new Assistant Event Coordinator in VATSIM Scandinavia

As an Assistant Event Coordinator, you'll:

  • Create engaging events in VATSIM Scandinavia
  • Create event banners and event text to our events
  • Handle ATC-request (from VA etc.)
  • Advertise events though our different channels (forum, website & social media)
  • Communicate with other event staff across the VATSIM Network

Note: Everything mentioned above is done together with the Event Coordinator or by agreement between the two. 

We're looking for a candidate witch:

  • Has been a member of VATSIM Scandinavia for at least one month and holding an S2 rating or higher in VATSIM
  • Is somewhat fluent in the English language (We're often in contact with other vACC staff)
  • Has a basic skill for using software to create visual content
  • Is creative and find new ways to engage members with events  
  • Can create engagement for our event's, using social media and other relevant platforms
  • Have some hours during the week to spend on staff-related duties (answering e-mails etc.)  

The successful candidate will be chosen by the Event Coordinator together with the Director.
