Feature request: Plugin range squawk assignment command available for other software

We are thinking about start using vStrips with our Topsky setup. From what I gathered from the vStrips devs, due to the need to open the menu to assign plugin ranges squawks, vStrips is unable to do it.

Is there any way to make plugin range squawk assignment work with vstrips? Topsky may not have a similar function IRL but the initial SQ codes should already be allocated by Eurocontrol...

As it is now, other software cannot directly trigger a code assignment, but there's nothing preventing them from opening the ASSR menu where the user would then have to click Ok. It is possible that in the future there may be a function to directly trigger a code assignment, but this is not a high priority item in the development so I can't say when or if it would be available.
