Hello everyone.

Eemil has announced that he will be stepping down as the Training Assistant in Finland as he have been holding this role for almost 2 years now. Therefore we are opening for applications to find a suitable candidate who will take over this position with help from Eemil during an transition period.

The description of the Training Assistant role includes:

  • Keeping track of the general training situation in Finland
  • Reviewing incoming training requests in CC
  • Assigning mentors to students with pending requests
  • Reporting to the Training Director for theory test tokens and rating upgrades
  • Overseeing training and assessment reports and ensuring these meet the standards outlined in the Mentors' SOP
  • Appointing new mentors and examiners as required to meet training demands (in cooperation with TD)
  • Coordinating the development and maintenance of training related material specific to Finland (Sweatbox scenarios, LOPs, TAS LMS content etc.)

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a minimum rating of S3
  • Have at least 3-4 hours/week to spend on staff related duties (admin work, answering e-mails etc.)
  • Have ATC mentoring experience in Helsinki FIR
  • Preferably having a general understanding of Finnish.
