EKSB - Sonderborg Airport

General
Sonderborg is a small regional airport in the southern part of Denmark. Home to Alsie Express, this small airport is a beautiful destination.

Airlines

Alsie Express is the sole scheduled airline operating in and out of Sonderborg, using ATR72. Other traffic includes Bizjets, as well as charter flown mainly by TUI with 737 or smaller.

Arrival

Airspace is classified as Airspace class G from GND-3500 meaning there is NO ATC control. Only information service

All arrivals are handled via a point, hence this should reflect your flightplan of your intended runway for landing. See below for more info

Taxi & Parking

There is no control at EKSB, only information service. Normally the main stand (stand 1) is situated ahead of the terminal which is limited to ATR72 or Dash 8.

Departure

Sonderborg has no SIDs. all departure are omnidirectionsl

After departure climb straight ahead to 600' after which a turn in any direction may be performed

Be advised the ATC clearance may not be available until after you have started your engines, due to coordination with EKDK_CTR.
