Erik Wachters (815026)
Hello, I'm trying to setup and test NTZ for the two (almost) parallel runways at Brussels EBBR. This is the content of TopSkySTCA.txt: FINALAPP:EBBR:25L FINALAPP:EBBR:25R SOIR:EBBR:25L:25R:15:0.3:1 If I display the STCA everything looks ok accept that the flight BEL229 in the picture below doesn't get a warning when he is cleared for the approach but overshot the LOC for runway 25R and clearly entered the NTZ. Is this normal behaviour? I would expect to have some kind of warning when a flight inside the NTZ. Probably I miss something but I can't find what it is. This test is done on a sweatbox session. I have no clue if it's caused by that? Thank you in advance, Erik
Juha Holopainen
There is no dedicated warning for entry into the NTZ, you'll just have to eyeball it. The NTZ definition is currently only used to disable the STCA floor within that area so that the alerting works all the way down to ground level for NTZ intrusions. Bernardo Reis (1096507)
If you create an area therem the AIW or APW would work as you would like to? Speaking of safety nets @Juha Holopainen, any plans to add APM?
Erik Wachters (815026)
Great idea @Bernardo Reis. I'll start testing with an area. Thx E.
Juha Holopainen
APM - most likely yes at some point. Won't be in 2.4, but perhaps in the next version.
